Literature Text

blue eyes like ice,
melting into warm salty drops,
down wrinkles and creases of experience,
onto the flag-covered coffin.

black handkerchiefs,
soaking with faded memories,
absorbing unspoken pride and regrets,
behind the black-mesh veil.

white fresh lilies,
dropping from cold clammy fingers,
upon folds and threads of service,
into the newly-dug earth.
inspired by the song Mad World
idk if it has anything to do with the subject

Sometimes you wish you had the chance to say goodbye.

-applauds- I love the song mad world! The slow version and the faster remix, muahaha! -cough-
Anyways, its a very good poem, sad and touching. I like the description and vividness, and can totally envision the scene that's going. Good job myu!
